IMPORTANT HUNTING INFORMATION:

Health Requirements - It is essential that you contact your personal physician with regard to the necessary vaccinations and malaria prophylactics which you should take for your safari.  These are prone to change from year to year.  First Aid kits are available at camp but please ensure that you bring any special that you might need.

Insurance - Nyala Safaris advises that you take out full insurance coverage for you and your property.  While we take every precaution, we cannot be held liable for an accident, injury or loss of property that occurs during your safari.

Accommodation - 4 rustic tents under thatch, all with twin beds and bathroom en suite.  A total of 8 people can be accommodated.  Main complex consists of lounge and dining room and generator powered lights in all chalets.

Bookings - Confirmation of a booking will require 40% of the total relevant daily rate, payable direct, through our agents to us.

Cancelations - In the event of a cancelation, cancellations 90 days prior to the start of the safari - up to 50% refund.

Payment - 30 days prior to the safari commencing, the remaining balance of the daily rate must be paid.  On completion of the safari, all trophy fees and incidental expenses must be paid.

Tariffs include

• Accommodation, including full board.

• Liquor and beverages served in camp (wine, beer, soft drinks).

• Laundry.

• Full time service of a professional hunter, trained staff, trackers and skinners.

• Field preparation of trophies (skinning, salting, transportation to the taxidermist).

• Use of 4 X 4 vehicles.

• Use of First Aid kit.

• 2% Government levy.

• Pick up and drop off at International airport closest to the area in which you are going to hunt.

Tariffs exclude

• International and domestic flights.

• Travelling days (Travel days are considered non hunting days and are charged at US$ 180.00 per person per day.

• Trophy fees on animals shot, wounded or lost.

• Hire of weapons and purchase of ammunition (weapons can be rented on a daily basis).

• Dipping, packing, taxidermy, shipping.

• Medical insurance (air rescue charges).

• Leopard and lion bate (as per trophy list, depends on package).

• CITES tag charges (elephant cheetah, leopard and crocodile).

• Air charters and road transport between hunting areas.

• Tips for staff, telephone calls and curio purchases.
